This shot shows a few rows of typical monuments. Each grave has only a few inches of open space surrounding it, and each row is only inches from the previous row. Often, to access the next row, one must walk for some distance to find a space between monuments large enough to step through. Many graves have stone frames around the perimeter, the open space within once used for planting flowers.
Inscriptions are in English and Hebrew. Many stones, like those in the first row here, have photographs protected by hinged bronze doors.
