Senator William Lorimer
Congressman William Lorimer was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1909. However, in 1912 he was ejected after the Senate concluded that his election had included "corrupt methods and practices". He was unsuccessful in his later attempts to reenter Congress. |

Senator Lorimer has only a flat marker - there is no monument. He is located in the northern half of Section Y, on the eastern edge of the section, along the road that parallels the Sheridan Road fence. |
