The Kubicek monuments are of "white bronze", a trade name for what is actually zinc. Monuments of this metal acquire a distinctive blue patina over the years. Most monuments from the American White Bronze Company are of the four-sided pyramid shape. The central monument of this grouping follows this pattern, although this example is taller and more slender than most. Customized side panels are inscribed with flowers, poetry or religious symbols. Surrounding it are individual "headstones", dating from the 1880s.
