Until a few years ago, a small brick office building stood just south of the entrance. The dedication stone was inscribed "Hebrew Benevolent Society, 1905".

The above photograph was taken in 1998. A few years later the building was demolished. Now, in its place is an open grassy area, with a single monument, shown below.
