SICK AND INFIRM AT DUNNING
|
THE SICK AND INFIRM AT DUNNINGIn 1884, the Cook County Infirmary at Dunning was opened to serve as a place for care of the sick and infirm. With added space, it also replaced the original poorhouse. Many who died at this institution were interred here as were many others brought here, after death from other area medical facilities. |
