Artie and Willie, brothers, died at ages 4 and 2. The inscription is mostly worn away, and their facial features are disappearing as well. Originally, Artie and Willie looked out over a small lagoon. In recent years, the lagoon has been filled in, and the brothers now look at a shrine section dedicated to St. Peter. |
In September 2012 I identified them as Arthur Kenneth Walsh, died 3 Apr 1879, and William F. Walsh, died 13 Apr 1879, children of John F. and Marie Walsh.
