Willie James Dixon (1915-1992) arrived in Chicago from Mississippi in 1932 and worked as a session player for Chess Records. Dixon worked with Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters, among others. His songwriting hits include "Hoochie Coochie Man" , "I Just Want to Make Love To You", and "Back Door Man".
