Bachelor's Grove Cemetery

Bachelor's Grove Cemetery is surrounded by a chain-link fence with barbed wire at the top. On its south side is a simple gate, shown here. Holes have been torn in the gate that are large enough to step through easily. In 1996, it was chained shut, as shown here; later, the chain was broken or removed and the gate now stands perpetually open.

The photos that follow are arranged in the approximate order that these sights would be encountered if one were to enter through this gate in the center of the south fence, turn right, and make a counterclockwise circuit of the cemetery.
