This gate has been destroyed - one of Waldheim's greatest aesthetic losses in recent years. In its place is a modern chain-link fence, with no traces of the original remaining. The Warsaw gate was unique - nothing else at Waldheim was of a design remotely like this. Its loss is a tragedy, and this once-proud section is now indistinguishable from its neighbors.
