Waldheim Jewish Cemeteries

Driving through Cemetery #37 into the depths of the Central section, you will see a long black fence to the north with this archway at the end. This is one of the most visually appealing sections of Waldheim. The gate has no text visible, and the Piser Weinstein map identifies this only as "Portuguese".

Many of the graves here have ledgers - full-length granite grave covers - and are placed very close together, giving an overall effect much like that of Jewish Oak Woods.
