Waldheim Jewish Cemeteries

While the entrance to Anshe Knesses Israel Cemetery No.2 is not particularly impressive, the vine-covered mausoleum behind it certainly is.

There are three cemeteries named Anshe Knesses Israel at Waldheim, including #1 at the corner of Roosevelt and Des Plaines. Apparently the organization grew rapidly in size, filled their original cemetery, and had to acquire more space.
