The original entrance to Burr Oak Cemetery was located in the center of the cemetery's south edge, along 127th street. The entrance has not been used for many years, as can be seen here -- a guardrail has been placed across it, and the gate is completely inaccessible to automotive traffic. It has been superceded by an entrance at the southeast corner. |
