At the rear of the chapel, opposite the dais, two more Ionic columns flank the mausoleum's entry hall, extending south from the chapel to the mausoleum's front door. At left (not visible) are the stairs that lead to the lower level. On either side of this entry hall are burial chambers. The first one on the right is richly ornamented, belonging to the president of the Chicago Motor Club.
