To reach the lower level, it is necessary to exit the upper level, walk down the stairs, and use a separate entrance. The entrance to the lower level is in the western, more modern section of the building. Inside, one finds this large chapel featuring wooden pews and a lectern. As with the other chamber, the walls here are lined with columbarium niches as well.
